Free Clinic Support

We're helping community clinics serve another day

sunburyFree healthcare services for the under and uninsured in Sunbury and Miffinville

The Affordable Care Act goes into full effect in 2014 with the promise of healthcare for all. Especially for those who don't have employer benefits or other insurance to rely on.

Under and uninsured people in Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder and Union counties can't wait that long. Free clinics like A Community Clinic in Sunbury and Volunteers in Medicine in Mifflinville help fill the gap.

From fixing up scrapes to diagnosing more serious health conditions, free clinics make a real difference in the lives of people who can't afford a doctor.

Fifty-percent of Sunbury households have single head of family with children living in poverty.
