| Garrett's story Garrett hasn't let a diagnosis of SCID - a severe immunodeficiency - or a cleft lip and palate hold him back. At birth, he was transferred from his local hospital to Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital because of the clefts and breathing problems.
