2007 Miracle Kid holds fundraiser

2007 Miracle Kid Josiah Viera and his family have put together a special fundraiser to benefit Children's Miracle Network of Geisinger.

Josiah and his family have created sky blue t-shirts with Josiah's picture on the front, his name and the number one on the back and the Geisinger Janet Weis Children's Hospital and Children's Miracle Network logo on the left sleeve.

Josiah was born with Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria syndrome, a genetic condition often condition often referred to as early gaining disease. He is one of only 40 kids in the world to be diagnosed with the disease.

"Josiah is proof that big hearts come in small packages, and he is always is finding a way to help other children," Children's Miracle Network coordinator Vanessa Klingensmith said." These shirts are a way to honor Josiah while supporting Janet Weis Children's Hospital."

Shirts are available in Youth large size for $14; adult sizes for $16 and 2XL for $18. A $3 shipping and handling fee will be charged for mailed orders.
