WILLIAMSPORT -- The fourth KISS for KIDS radiothon hit the airwaves March 26 and 27, raising $21,167 for Janet Weis Children's Hospital pediatric services throughout the region. The radiothon kicked off with a live broadcast from Geisinger's Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville and continued at the Walmart in Montoursville. Interviews with Children's Miracle Network miracle kids and caregivers were featured throughout the two-day event, and volunteers took pledges from KISS listeners who called in to donate. The radiothon has raised roughly $80,000 since its inception. KISS-FM, 102.7 WKSB, is based in Williamsport and is part of the Clear Channel Communications group. |
If you didn't have a chance to donate during the live broadcast, you still can donate online or by using a mail-in donation form. |
