Sleep Disorders Center

gmc sleep labGeisinger Medical Center's Sleep Disorder Center is located at 109 Woodbine Lane, just two miles from the Danville campus and has four sleep specialists and six sleep technicians. The lab has eight bedrooms each equipped with a private bathroom and TV and is operational Sunday - Friday. In the morning after the patients have had their polysomnogram, or sleep test, a sleep physician reviews their study and gives them a preliminary result prior to their departure from the lab. We also make sure the patient's primary doctor obtains a report.

E. Jane Wieand, RT( R), RPSGT, sleep lab team leader, uses the cutting-edge Sandman sleep analysis program.

We work closely with Neurology, PsychiatryEar, Nose, Throat and Dental departments to provide a wide range of therapeutic options.
