Regardless of a child’s age, when he or she needs serious medical attention, we can provide it. When your child is admitted to our Janet Weis Children’s Hospital, your child will be treated by a physician team that works closely with pediatric nurses, social workers, child life specialists and other health care providers to provide individualized care during what is a traumatic time – for the child and the entire family.

The department of Pediatrics offers a full range of services from general pediatrics through high-end specialty care both medical and surgical. The pediatric specialty departments include: neonatology, pediatric allergy/immunology, pulmonary, trauma, adolescent medicine, rheumatology, genetics, cancer, diabetic care/endocrinology, cardiology, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, surgery, infectious disease, gastroenterology, nephrology, infectious disease, hematology, neurology, and neurodevelopment/autism.
A variety of new /expanded programs have been developed for children and include the Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease, Pediatric Obesity and Weight Management, and Pediatric Autism and Neurodevelopment Program.
