Endowments
An endowed gift is one in which the original principal is never invaded; the gift exists in perpetuity. Endowment funds are excellent ways to support a department or program, enhance the work of clinicians and research scientists, and advance patient care. By generating a steady stream of income while leaving the principal untouched, endowment funds make it possible for Geisinger to respond to opportunities in patient care and research and to attract outstanding physicians.
