Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre* has become the hub for adult urgent care in the valley, recognizing that the majority of patients in our area have urgent — rather than emergency — needs. For those who need trauma or emergency care, we have a Level II Trauma Center just seven miles away at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, but you should always go to your closest emergency room.
When you have an injury or illness that needs to be treated within 24 hours but is not serious enough to warrant an emergency room visit, you can count on us. Our convenient adult urgent care is patient-centered and comprehensive, including diagnostic lab services. If your doctor is not available, please come to the Adult Urgent Care Center at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre for:

- Asthma
- Bronchitis
- Burns (minor)
- Colds/cough
- Cuts (minor)
- Dizziness
- Flu
- Fevers
- Insect bites
- Nausea
- Pink eye
