Geisinger hospitals have contracts with Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania insurances—as well as many other insurance plans. The only plan Blue Cross will not allow us to participate in is First Priority.

Geisinger and Aetna have an agreement in place for the majority of Aetna’s products—for example, Aetna Open Choice PPO and Aetna Choice POSII (Point of Service II) through Devon PPO. Aetna’s HMO is their only product without a contract at GSWB.

GSWB participates in most insurance plans. People with the following insurances can rest assured that their care is covered at Geisinger:
