Another enhancement in surgical services at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre is our patient monitor in the waiting room. When a patient checks in for surgery, they are given an identification number. Loved ones in the waiting room can use that number to track the patient’s movements—from pre-op care and the actual surgery to post-op, recovery and discharge.
