Our volunteers are vital to the operation of the House of Care. By becoming a House of Care volunteer, you will not only gain rewarding experiences, but you will be helping to ensure the best stay possible for our guests during this difficult time.

As a volunteer, you will:

• Take referrals from Geisinger Medical Center
• Greet and register guests
• Take guests on tours of the House
• Respond to guests’ questions and concerns
• Answer the telephone
• Assist in guest check-out
• Maintain the appearance of our facility

Donations

The House of Care is maintained through generous contributions from the many friends of Geisinger Medical Center - individuals, families, corporations and foundations. Thousands of individuals have contributed to the House. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Checks should be made payable to Geisinger Foundation, with a note indicating the gift is for the House of Care.
