The goal of the staff at the Geisinger Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital is to enable patients to achieve maximum levels of function and independence in a cost-effective, outcome-oriented environment. The facility offers acute inpatient rehabilitation with an individualized plan of care incorporating three hours of therapy each day, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and therapeutic reaction. |

The multidisciplinary team is comprised of a variety of healthcare professionals who take a holistic approach to caring for each individual: a physiatrist, consulting physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreation therapists, speech/language pathologists, rehabilitation nurses, case managers, a neuropsychologist, respiratory therapists, and a dietician. The Geisinger Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture partnership between Geisinger Health System and the HEALTHSOUTH Corporation. This 40-bed, stand-alone facility is located on top of the hill behind Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Contact us
