Community Health Library 

Located in the lobby of Abigail Pavilion, the Community Health Library provides easy to understand health information to assist you in making informed decisions about your health and lifestyle. You can read, browse, search health-related topics and e-mail family or friends.

The Assistive Technology Workstation enables users with special needs, such as low vision or fine motor difficulties, to access health information independently or with the help of library staff. The workstation can enlarge and narrate text. To use the workstation, contact the librarian at (570) 271-5638 for an appointment and orientation.

Services are free and available to the public. The information is provided in a variety of formats:

All information requests are confidential. Any information obtained from the library should not be used as a substitute for your doctor’s recommendations.

The library is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
