Mission

Provide superior training to internists who wish to become cardiovascular disease specialists.

Vision
Our program's philosophy mirrors the institution's vision to provide our trainee's with the ability to Heal, Teach, Discover, and Serve.

The Fellow's Role
As evidenced by our mission and vision statements, education plays a central role in the system. The Cardiovascular Fellowship Program strives to uphold these ideals, and further advance patient care in the region.

The Cardiovascular Department at Geisinger Medical Center believes strongly in the development of the complete cardiologist. As such, fellows are treated in a collegial and humane manner, with careful focus on developing the broadest possible clinical range of cardiovascular skills, as well as personal growth.

Our goal is to train fellows to become excellent sub-specialists.
