About us

The Nephrology Fellowship at the Geisinger Medical Center provides trainees with a full exposure to clinical nephrology and a wide variety of academic and other career paths. The fellowship is designed as a 2-year program with an option to expand to a third year for an extended research experience or other career-development opportunities.

Program goals
The Renal Medicine Division aims to equip trainees in nephrology with the knowledge, values, and skills that will enable them to have successful careers in clinical or academic medicine, basic or clinical research, public health, medical informatics, or administration. With a large and mature faculty devoted to medical education, we provide a wide range of learning opportunities to prepare for these career paths.
