Continuity care at GSWB for prenatal and postpartum care of patients to be delivered at GWV. Major Rotations Geisinger Wyoming Valley: Inpatient adult medicine, pediatrics Ob-GYN, general surgery, ICU/CCU, family medicine, out patient surgical specialties, derm, ER, pediatrics, geriatrics. Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre: Pediatric urgicare, adolescent psych, continuity obstetrics Residents will become critical team members as they work with: - A complete electronic health record

“Cabin Fever” home care - each resident must do home visits of at least two elderly patients of their FMC each winter who need care but getting out is unreasonable. Evening curriculum of Art of Medicine and Future of Medicine. Residents participate in the FMC monthly meeting to review productivity, quality and clinical effectiveness.
