Overview

The Otolaryngology Residency Training Program at Geisinger Medical Center is a five-year program.

Our program has been constructed to include the required nine months of PGY-1 year rotations in the various surgical and critical care services, and three additional months (one month in oral-maxillo-facial surgery, and two months in otolaryngology).

The last four years are in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery training. All training is done at the Geisinger Medical Center and its Outpatient Surgical Center, both in Danville, PA. The last four years of training are split evenly between the various subspecialty areas. Four months are dedicated to a research project.
