All Cardiovascular Technology students, in order to graduate, must be in good academic standing (70% or better in all academic classes) and not on any type of probationary status, have completed 1,920 instructional hours (640 classroom hours, 160 lab hours, 1,120 clinical hours), and have satisfactorily completed all clinical objectives as outlined in student evaluations. The students need to be deemed entry-level competent to graduate.
ADVANCEMENT PLACEMENT, TRANSFER CREDITS & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Geisinger Cardiovascular Technology Program does not accept any transfer credits, does not allow advanced placement and does not allow experiential learning to count for satisfying program requirements. The program must be completed exactly the way it is designed.
