Calendar dates to note

The internship typically begins the end of August and concludes at the beginning of June. There are two weeks of vacation at Christmas and a four-day weekend at Thanksgiving and in the spring.

Times to note

Typical work hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Another possible shift especially during food service rotations is 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Interns also may work second and third shifts at least once during the food service rotations.
