How to Apply
When applications are being accepted for an upcoming class, the positions will be posted on the Geisinger Health System web site Careers section. Students are considered Geisinger Health System per diem employees. After applying, students will be asked to complete two assessment tests. Upon successful completion of these tests, students will be invited to take part in a formal interview.
There is no fee associated with the Geisinger School of Phlebotomy. Fifteen students are accepted as per diem employees after successfully completing the admission process. Students are paid at the posted rate for hours spent in classes and clinical rotations.

- Two assessment tests
- Negative drug screen
- Child abuse history clearance
- Fingerprint clearance
- Immunization review
- Formal interview
