A consumer health library, the Community Health Resource Library, is located in the main lobby of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.

New York University selected Geisinger's Health Sciences Libraries as a Resource Library for the National Institutes of Health's National Network of Libraries of Medicine.

• The Health Sciences Library at GMC reference librarians are available weekdays, 8 am- 5 pm.
• The Health Sciences Library at GWV library assistant is available weekdays, from 8 am - 3:30 pm.
• The Health Sciences Library at GSWB staff is available weekdays, from 8:30 am - 3 pm.

Borrowing materials
Registration
All individuals must register before borrowing any library materials.

Check Out
Geisinger Health System employees and affiliated students may check out books, journals, and AV items for three weeks with one renewal.

Members of the public and non-affiliated students may check out books for three weeks. They must use journals and AVs in the library.

Photocopying
Photocopiers are available. Copyright restrictions are observed and fees apply when copying for non-Geisinger business.

Interlibrary Loan
Materials not available in the Health Sciences Libraries may be obtained from other libraries for a fee.
