The Keystone Beacon Project is a federal initiative to increase community wide patient engagement using information technology. 

The Keystone Beacon Community is a network of doctors, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes and other healthcare professionals working together to give patients the best, most convenient care in Central Pennsylvania.  Keystone Beacon works with Keystone Health Information Exchange (KeyHIE) linking participants through a robust database with critical information on thousands of participating residents.
