Independent assessment skills and insightful judgment are the hallmarks of the home health nurse. The transition from hospital to home may require anything from newborn assessment, to more complicated care such as dressing changes, chemotherapy, IV therapy or instruction on assistive devices.Clients are always pleased to have access to a professional for one-on-one care. These nurses have clinical skills and enjoy the reciprocal relationship of trust in the home health setting.

Geisinger HomeCare provides 24-hour-a-day home health services to patients in central and northeastern Pennsylvania, including Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Union, Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Wyoming counties.
