Psychiatric Nursing
Psychiatric nurses provide care to patients ranging in age from adolescence (14 years) to adults. The unit offers a full range of assessment and therapeutic modalities to our patients. All treatment is individualized to the patients needs and requirements.
Bush Pavilion 2, Inpatient
- Number of Beds: 28
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Type of Patients: Psychiatric ages 14 and up
- Clinical make-up: RNs, LPNs, nurses assistants, clinical nurse educator and unit desk clerks. RNs and LPNs are teamed together
- Shift availability: 8-hour shifts
- Programs/councils:Conference Committee, Safety Committee, Scheduling Committee

Division of Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic
- Services offered: Psychotherapy, education
- Clinical make-up: RN, and a clinical nurse specialist
- Shift availability: 8-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts
- Programs/councils: Geisinger Quality Improvement Team
