• The Geisinger Medical Center endoscopy department earned 2013 renewed recognition as a unit of quality through the Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
• Geisinger Medical Center was listed as one of the top hospitals for safety in the April/May 2013 issue of AARP The Magazine, based on data from the Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Score.
• Geisinger Medical Center was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2013 lists of “100 Great Hospitals” and “100 Hospitals with Great Neurosurgery and Spine Programs.”
• Geisinger Health System’s Genomics Medicine Institute earned grand prize recognition by Bio-IT World in its ninth Best Practices Awards, 2013.
• Geisinger Medical Center receives national MS recognition, 2013.
