Geisinger Medical Center endoscopy earns national recognition
April 24, 2013 — The Geisinger Medical Center endoscopy department recently earned renewed recognition as a unit of quality through the Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. GMC was initially recognized as a unit of quality in 2008.

March 14, 2013 - Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center earned Cycle IV Chest Pain Center Accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, becoming one of 800 hospitals nationwide with SCPC accreditation and just one of 26 in Pennsylvania.

Geisinger pharmacy recognized for patient care in aftermath of storms
June 25, 2012 - The Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) System Therapeutics Department was recently awarded the Chief Executive Officer's Award for Courageous Service by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
