The International Collaboration for Clinical Genomics (ICCG) is a partnership between the International Standards for Cytogenomic Arrays (ISCA) Consortium and members of the sequencing community. The ISCA Consortium, founded in 2007, initially focused on issues of standardization, data sharing, and collaboration as they related to structural variation detected by chromosomal microarray (CMA) testing.
Realizing that these issues were not unique to structural variation, the ISCA Consortium has evolved into ICCG, expanding its focus to include sequence-level variation. ICCG is a group of laboratories, physicians, genetic counselors, researchers, and others dedicated to raising the standard of patient care by improving the quality of genomic testing.
