Office of Clinical Research Support Services Core

The Office of Clinical Research Support Services (OCRSS) is a core facility that supports the overarching Geisinger mission to enhance quality of life through an integrated health service organization based on a balanced program of patient care, education, research and community service. The OCRSS aims to provide easy access and use of clinical research support services within the Geisinger Health System for clinician investigators in the conduct and management of participant focused studies. At this time services can be accessed at three regionally based hospital campuses and several outpatient clinics. We are currently servicing clinical department areas of pediatric pulmonology, adult pulmonology, pediatric endocrinology, adult endocrinology, adult general internal medicine, general pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology - maternal fetal medicine, and hospitalists. Research coordination and participant care services are offered for all types of sponsored studies including Industry, Internally Funded and Grant Based.  This core engages the community that we serve in research efforts and provides training for clinical research investigators and staff in the research management process.
