The Office of Strategic Industry Partnerships is charged with identifying, structuring, and developing key partnerships with top-tier global companies that, like Geisinger, seek to transform the way in which healthcare is provided and paid for.
Successful partnerships require Mutual Strategic Imperatives (MSI). Geisinger partners only with organizations whose leadership articulates top (board-level) strategic imperatives which may be best solved for by leveraging Geisinger's unique assets and capabilities.
We evaluate prospective partners based on the above key characteristics.
We measure impact by the extent to which we influence key levers of healthcare value (outcomes, quality, total cost of care) at the national and global levels.
We measure return by the extent to which jointly created solutions are utilized and monetized in the commercial marketplace.
