Overview

The Department of Women’s Health is involved in a number of research projects integral to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of women-specific diseases. Research focuses on obstetrics, gynecology, oncology and menopause, with an age demographic from a woman’s teenage to senior years.  

By broadening the scope of women’s health and making significant contributions to the discipline, Geisinger’s Department of Women’s Health provides the highest quality of care and education. 

This site provides an overview of research projects being conducted by the department, including a representative list of publications and conference papers. Though each investigation, publication, and presentation is not exhaustive, it does present a sound overview of the type of research being conducted within Geisinger’s Women’s Health Department.
