American Cancer Society - The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has 13 chartered Divisions and more than 3,400 local offices. Their website is comprehensive resource for cancer information.

Chemocare.com – Chemocare.com provides the latest information about chemotherapy to patients and their families, caregivers and friends. The site in addition to providing a multitude of informational topics on chemotherapy also features survivor experiences, information on managing drug side effects and a frequently asked questions section.

NCI Cancer Term Dictionary – Confused about some of the cancer terms you have been hearing? Look them up easily with the National Cancer Institute’s easy search Cancer Term Dictionary, with over 6,000 cancer related terms and definitions that will help eliminate much of the confusion involved with the often complicated cancer terminology. Search by word or letter and if you only know the first couple of letters of a word the search engine features an auto suggest feature that will fill in the blank for you.

NCI Cancer Drug Dictionary – The NCI Drug Dictionary contains technical definitions and synonyms for drugs/agents used to treat patients with cancer or conditions related to cancer. Additionally, each drug entry includes links to check for clinical trials listed in NCI's PDQ® Cancer Clinical Trials Registry.

NeedyMeds.org - NeedyMeds is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission of helping people who cannot afford medicine or health care costs. The information at NeedyMeds is available anonymously and free of charge. They provide information on patient assistance programs, government assistance programs and additional discount, low cost, and free programs throughout the country.
