The Maternal Child Health Program provides care for high-risk pregnant women, postpartum mothers and newborns.  Our specially trained nurses visit new mothers and newborns in the confort of their own homes, while providing care and education for moms, families and caregivers.  Patients who are discharged from the hospital after the delivery may receive a visit from our specialists to ensure that mom and baby are doing well.

The Maternal Child Health Program provides care for:

• Postpartum mothers
• Newborns
• Infants with hyperbilirubinemia (jaundice)
• Premature infants
• Infants discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• High-risk prenatal women
• Prenatal women enrolled in the Healthy Beginnings Plus and Mom Matters programs

The Maternal Child Health Program serves patients in Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, parts of Monroe, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Union and Wyoming counties.
