For breaks and serious scrapes, visit the Pediatric Urgent Care Center at GSWB Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Urgent Care Center is the only facility of its kind in Wilkes-Barre. The center offers the latest in technology and care designed just for children’s urgent medical needs. Same-day and evening appointments are available 7 days a week and the center is conveniently located next to the main entrance of Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre on Church Street.

The Pediatric Urgent Care Center is a friendly environment where kids can get an appointment to see a doctor when their regular pediatrician isn’t available. As part of the Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre campus, patients of the Pediatric Urgent Care Center have easy access to hospital services like lab work and X-rays.

The center accepts most major insurances and the deductible is less expensive than an emergency room visit. But please remember, urgent care is not a substitute for the emergency room.
