They lead the team to care for victims of trauma and those who need surgery for other critical conditions. They treat children with medical conditions present from birth and those that develop due to disease or illness.

Pediatric surgeons complete two years of training exclusively in children's surgery and earn special certification in the subspecialty of pediatrics. We work closely with other specialists who are also experts in caring for your child before, during and after surgery, using tools and techniques designed for children.
