If your child’s pediatrician is not available, visit a Geisinger Pediatric Urgent Care Center for conditions like, or similar to the following:

• Allergies
• Asthma
• Burns (minor)
• Colds/cough
• Cuts (minor)
• Earache
• Fractures
• Flu
• Fevers
• Insect Bites
• Nausea
• Pink Eye
• Poison Ivy
• Sore Throats
• Sprains
• Stitches
• Urinary Tract Infections

Emergency

Visit the nearest emergency department for matters of life or death or for accidents and illnesses not treatable at your child’s doctor’s office, including:

• Ingestion of Obstructive Objects
• Pneumonia
• Poison Ingestion
• Seizures
• Shock
• Snake Bites
• Unconsciousness
• Uncontrollable Bleeding
• Abdominal Pain (severe)
• Asthma Attacks (severe)
• Burns (severe)
• Chest Pain
• Compound Fractures (bone visible)
• High Fevers
• Head Injuries
