If your child’s pediatrician is not available, visit a Geisinger Pediatric Urgent Care Center for conditions like, or similar to the following:
- Allergies
- Asthma
- Burns (minor)
- Colds/cough
- Cuts (minor)
- Earache
- Fractures
- Flu
- Fevers
- Insect Bites
- Nausea
- Pink Eye
- Poison Ivy
- Sore Throats
- Sprains
- Stitches
- Urinary Tract Infections
Emergency
Visit the nearest emergency department for matters of life or death or for accidents and illnesses not treatable at your child’s doctor’s office, including:
- Ingestion of Obstructive Objects
- Pneumonia
- Poison Ingestion
- Seizures
- Shock
- Snake Bites
- Unconsciousness
- Uncontrollable Bleeding
- Abdominal Pain (severe)
- Asthma Attacks (severe)
- Burns (severe)
- Chest Pain
- Compound Fractures (bone visible)
- High Fevers
- Head Injuries
