LifeFlight®
Life Flight® is a regional helicopter service designed to provide critically ill or injured patients rapid access to advanced life support care and rapid transportation to critical care facilities. At right: two Life Flight helicopters on scene at a multi-casualty incident.
Geisinger Health System's Life Flight program currently operates aircraft from:
- Geisinger Medical Center, Danville
- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport, Avoca
- University Park Airport, State College
- Williamsport Regional Airport, Williamsport

All Life Flight helicopters are in operation 24 hours a day.
Life Flight's transports are conducted under the operational control of the health system's contracted aviation vendor's Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate.
