Pain Medicine

Chronic pain affects every aspect of a person’s life. When conventional medical treatments, such as medications or physical therapy do not reduce pain, your primary care physician may refer you to one of the Geisinger Interventional Pain Centers.

Geisinger Interventional Pain Center physicians provide diagnostic procedures and treatment of chronic pain problems, on an outpatient basis. Our staff is composed of physicians and physician assistants, certified registered nurse practitioners, and clinical nurse specialists with training and experience in anesthesiology, rehabilitation medicine, neurosurgery, palliative medicine and oncology. Our physicians are fellowship trained and board certified and/or board eligible in pain management. They provide care for more than 10,000 patients annually.
