The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery provides a broad range of reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. Reconstructive surgery is performed to correct deformities resulting from congenital defects, developmental anomalies, trauma, tumors or disease. Its purpose is to restore appearance and function.
