According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer will strike one in eight women at some point in their lives. Unfortunately, many of these women have no known risk factors.

Our breast care specialists are Fellowship-trained, using the latest technologies like digital mammography and ultrasound, as well as minimally invasive breast cancer techniques like stereotactic breast biopsy.

All women should learn to perform monthly self-breast examinations. Ask your Geisinger family physician or gynecologist how often you should have a screening or other mammogram and encourage your girlfriends and female family members to do the same.
