Becoming a Geisinger youth volunteer is an excellent learning and social experience for teenagers between the ages of 14 and 17. Volunteering can broaden a young person’s outlook, interests and sense of responsibility. This program provides a way for mature teens to experience the satisfaction of helping others in a working health care environment, while gaining skills and knowledge needed for future life endeavors.

High school students interested in learning more about Geisinger youth volunteer opportunities can contact the Volunteer Services office at a location in your community.

Summer volunteer session

An eight-week, structured service program is available to youths ages 14-17. Diverse service opportunities and planned educational days make this an exceptional experience. This program requires an application and references

The admission process is competitive and space in the program is limited to ensure a quality experience for participants.

Applicants are interviewed once we have received your application and completed references.
