Junior Volunteers

Becoming a junior volunteer is an excellent experience for teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18. Volunteerism can broaden a young person’s outlook and sense of responsibility. These programs provide a way for mature young people to experience the satisfaction of helping others in a working environment.  To apply, complete the online application.

For high school students interested in pursuing a medical, health-related or business career after high school, Geisinger offers learning opportunities including Mini Medical School, career awareness programs and observerships. The Junior Volunteer Program differs depending on the campus. Inquire at the Geisinger location near you. Junior volunteers must complete a health screening that includes testing for drug and nicotine use.

A Geisinger volunteer coordinator will contact you for an interview once we have received your application.

Programs are now closed for summer.
