Grateful patient program
Perhaps it was a kind word or smile that brought you or your family member comfort. It may have been the skilled surgeon who repaired your heart, or the compassionate smile of a nurse during chemotherapy. At Geisinger, patient care is at the heart of every member of our team, and all of us are committed to providing you with the best experience possible.
Recognize your caregiver
We’re often asked by patients who have such an experience if there’s a way they can express their gratitude and appreciation for the care they or a family member received. The Grateful Patient Program at Geisinger provides you the opportunity to recognize someone who was there when you needed them most through a charitable gift made in their honor.
- Richard Burson honors Dr. Kyo Chu
- Catherine Pennycoff honors GSACH Emergency Department
- Paul Russell honors GCMC Cancer Center
- Jackie Halesky honors GCMC
Not ony will your gift celebrate the dedication and compassion of a special caregiver who made a difference in your life, but it will also help make a difference in the lives of others. Your donation may be directed to a specific clinical area, department, service or program, or may support an area of special significance to you and your family. Your message of appreciation will be shared with the caregiver, and the amount of your gift will be kept confidential.
Whether you choose to honor a special physician or nurse, an entire department, or a clinical program that impacted you or your family, your donation is a meaningful tribute that gives back.
