FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

DANVILLE, PA -- Geisinger Health System President and CEO David T. Feinberg, M.D., MBA, has been named to the most influential leaders in health care list by Modern Healthcare magazine.

Now in its 14th year, Modern Healthcare’s annual “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” list continues to honor individuals who make a significant impact on the health care industry and within their organizations.

This is the first time Dr. Feinberg has made the annual list, which includes a range of policy leaders, hospital leaders and insurance executives, most notably President Barack Obama, Supreme Court Justice John Robert and CEOs of the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic and Kaiser Permanente.

Named president and CEO of Geisinger in May, Dr. Feinberg has made his focus on upholding the highest clinical standard for patient care and safety with a primary goal to ensure patient satisfaction.

“Inspired by our patients and our employees, I’m excited about the work we’re doing here to improve upon the care and experience for our patients,” Dr. Feinberg said. “We’re striving daily to do better by our patients.”

Dr. Feinberg has previously been named to Modern’s Healthcare’s “50 Most Influential Physician Executives and Leaders.”
