Geisinger Viewmont Health Associates now licensed as hospital outpatient provider

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SCRANTON, PA -- Geisinger Viewmont Health Associates locations will be licensed as a hospital outpatient provider of Geisinger-Community Medical Center. Beginning July 13, billing statements for patients receiving care at any of our locations will include both physician and facility charges.

These include:

• Geisinger Viewmont Imaging, (all three Scranton locations), 435 Scranton Carbondale Highway, 475 Morgan Highway, 5 Morgan Highway;
• Geisinger Viewmont Physical Therapy, 423 Scranton Carbondale Highway, Scranton:
• Geisinger Viewmont Sleep Disorder Center, 517 Ash Street, Scranton
• Geisinger Viewmont Medical Labs, (all locations)

If you receive care at any of these locations, certain outpatient services and procedures may result in a hospital facility charge as well as a professional or physician charge.

Depending on your particular insurance coverage, it is possible that you may pay more for certain outpatient services and procedures. We recommend you review your insurance benefits or contact your insurance provider to determine what your policy will pay and what, if any, out-of-pocket expenses you may have to pay.
