ADMI sponsors ‘22q at the Zoo’ on May 21

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI), in partnership with the International 22q11.2 Foundation, Inc., is participating in a day at Reptiland to raise awareness for 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.

Children and families with the syndrome are invited to meet others at Reptiland on Sunday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It’s a chance to have a fun-filled day at the zoo, socialize with other 22q families, and help raise the public profile of this relatively common condition, which is also sometimes called DiGeorge, or Velo-cardio-facial, syndrome.

Tickets are $5 for age 3 and over. Tickets will be available to purchase at the event. Please bring cash or check (made payable to Reptiland).

ADMI will have free ‘22q at the Zoo’ t-shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis.
