CAMP HILL, Pa. – Geisinger Holy Spirit recently donated $500 to Northumberland County Youth Leadership (NCYL) in Sunbury as part of Geisinger Holy Spirit's Mission Integration Outreach.

The donation was made in honor of Kristine Rosancrans, a registrar and coder in the hospital’s trauma center. Rosancrans volunteers with NCYL in her personal time.

“I love working with at-risk youth in our community, and seeing them overcome, impact and inspire themselves and others through community service,” Rosancrans said.

This year, the Mission Integration team asked Geisinger Holy Spirit employees to share where they volunteer in their communities. The team randomly selected one organization to receive the donation.

“The response we got from our staff was overwhelming,” said Sister Mary Joseph Albright, director of mission integration at Geisinger Holy Spirit. “The volunteerism our staff displays truly speaks to their character. We are blessed to have such a dedicated workforce who not only embody our mission of caring while at work, but also in their personal lives.”
