CAMP HILL, Pa. –  Geisinger Holy Spirit will host the annual “Healthy Heart, Healthy You” cardiovascular awareness event on Saturday, Feb. 17. The free event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon in the Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital auditorium, 503 N. 21st St., Camp Hill.

Attendees can participate in health lectures, free health screenings, information booths and door prize raffles. Health screenings will include body mass index, blood pressure, cardiovascular risk assessment, and glucose and cholesterol tests. 

The lecture topics and schedule are:

  • 9 a.m. Understanding Cardiomyopathy presented by Christopher Spizzieri, M.D., Geisinger Holy Spirit Cardiology
  • 9:30 a.m. What is Arrhythmia? presented by Stacey Solomon, BSN, Geisinger Holy Spirit Atrial Fibrillation Center
  • 10:20 a.m. MyCode Community Health Initiative presented by Marci Schwartz, Geisinger Genomics
  • 11 a.m. Heart-Healthy Cooking Demonstration with Samples presented by Sadia Shaukat, Geisinger Holy Spirit Nutrition Services
