CAMP HILL, Pa. –  David Maish, M.D., a hip and knee specialist, has joined Geisinger Holy Spirit Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and will serve as an associate of adult reconstruction surgery.

Dr. Maish earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and did a year of fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery at Duke University Medical Center.

“I am delighted to re-connect with Geisinger and serve my previous patients in a central part of the state,” Dr. Maish said. “I’m looking forward to continuing the work I’ve done for the past 13 years, helping patients with painful hip and knee replacements who are trying to figure out why they are hurting and whether surgery is right for them.”

Dr. Maish specializes in revising painful hip and knee replacements, minimally invasive hip and knee replacements, outpatient hip and knee replacements, evaluation of painful hip and knee replacements, osteonecrosis of the hip, and joint preservation procedures intended to avoid hip and knee replacements.
