Geisinger hosts Community Shred Day in Lewistown

LEWISTOWN, Pa. – The Geisinger Sustainability Program will team up with Shred-It to host a Community Shred Day. Members of the community are invited to bring confidential personal and financial documents, such as bank statements, credit card bills and tax forms, to be securely shredded on-site and recycled. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 25, from 8 a.m. – 12 noon at Parking Lot E across the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital Surgical Entrance (Green Roof).

From drop-off to destruction, all documents will be continuously monitored and protected. Limit three boxes of documents per person. For more information about this free event, contact the Geisinger Sustainability Program (Lewistown) Janie Welshans at 717-242-7194.
