Free presentation for those suffering from chronic knee, hip and joint pain

Geisinger physicians to discuss advances in both surgical and non-surgical procedures
SCRANTON, Pa. – The public is invited to attend a free lecture and Q+A session on treating chronic knee, hip and joint pain on June 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Geisinger Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Scranton, 3 West Olive St., Scranton.
Dr. Jeffrey Gillette, orthopaedic surgeon, will discuss “Healthy Hips: Advances in Minimally Invasive Anterior Hip Replacement.” Dr. Justin Tunis, primary care sports medicine physician, will present, “Stay Healthy this Outdoor Sports Season: Advances in Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Treatments.”
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and staff members will offer tours of the practice, located in the Ice Box Complex across from Scranton High School.
