Geisinger moves cancer services under one roof in Schuylkill County
POTTSVILLE, Pa. — Geisinger recently relocated the Pottsville-based Hematology/Oncology Clinic to a new location in the same building as Geisinger’s Pottsville Radiation Oncology Clinic.
Now located at 1 E. Norwegian St., Geisinger’s Hematology/Oncology clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating cancer and hematologic diseases and offers a wide range of treatments, including:
- Chemotherapy
- IV infusions
- Injections
- Hydrations
- Bone marrow biopsies
Geisinger’s Radiation oncology is located directly across the hallway, making it more convenient for patients receiving multiple cancer services.
“Registering for lab work, drawing blood and getting test results is a much quicker process with lab services located right here,” said Nicole Blannard, Associate Vice President, Cancer Services, Geisinger. “One of Geisinger’s top priorities is making sure that our patients receive high-quality care, in convenient locations that are close to home.”
Previously at 700 E. Norwegian St., the new 4,300 square-foot-space will treat patients Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers a bright and airy treatment room, a convenient first floor location and ample parking.
For more information patients can call the clinic at 570-624-4888 or CareLink, Geisinger’s toll-free appointment line, at 800-275-6401.
